Cookie Policy

OurDay is a web app, and it uses a small amount of browser storage to work at all. Currently that is limited to storage that is strictly necessary:

• Sign-in and security — a token that keeps you signed in to your account and helps keep your account and the service secure. Without it, OurDay cannot keep you logged in.
• Basic operation — small amounts of information the app needs to remember while it runs, such as where you were before signing in.

We do not use advertising cookies, marketing trackers or non-essential analytics on OurDay's own pages. Because only strictly necessary storage is used, OurDay does not show a cookie consent banner.

Some parts of the service involve other companies' pages, and those companies may use their own storage there, under their own policies:

• Stripe — when you subscribe to a paid OurDay plan (Plus or Premium), checkout takes place on Stripe's own secure pages. Stripe uses storage there to run checkout and for fraud prevention, as described in Stripe's own cookie policy.
• Google — if you choose “Continue with Google”, the sign-in happens on Google's pages, where Google uses its own storage under Google's own policies.
• Base44 (hosting) — OurDay runs on the Base44 platform, which provides the underlying infrastructure. No non-essential storage is placed on your device by the hosting platform itself.

This storage is set on those providers' own domains when you interact with them, not by OurDay's pages. Only the strictly necessary storage listed above is used by OurDay itself.

If OurDay ever introduces non-essential technologies — for example analytics or marketing tools on our own pages — we will update this policy and provide a proper consent choice before they are used, in line with UK rules. We will not quietly add tracking.

You can clear or block storage in your browser's settings at any time. Blocking the strictly necessary storage will sign you out of OurDay, because it is what keeps your session secure.
